Inversity has considerable depth of experience designing for all types of projects, ranging from commercial and mixed-use buildings, to industrial facilities. In addition to design, we are also well-versed in construction and have expertise managing the construction process.

Collectively, we have served in a variety of roles throughout the construction process including engineer, contractor, project manager, building committee’s member, re-zoning case advocate, and government procurement officer.

Mr. Minor has over 26 years of extensive Electrical Engineering Design and Project Management experience. His specialties include power generation distribution, power energy management, power protection schemes, lighting, motor control, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), installations in hazardous (classified) locations, and burner management systems.

Our Story

Nearly twenty years ago, three colleagues at a local engineering firm forged a lasting friendship and began dreaming of starting their own MEP consulting practice. Today, Inversity Consulting Engineers is the realization of that dream. After working for various engineering and architecture firms and eventually starting their own practices, founders David Minor, PE and Richard Polo, PE merged their companies in 2015 to form Inversity.

In 2016, Chad Nixon joined the ownership group at Inversity to form a Veteran-Owned business, bringing with him a deep portfolio of construction and design experience. After decades of work, collaboration, and comradery, this partnership enabled the newly formed team to provide even stronger services to their clients with their diverse backgrounds and wide range of project experience.
