The Capital One West Creek Town Center building provides nearly 130,000 square feet over two stories that is used for conference center space with 39 conference rooms at approximately 40,000 sq ft, (a 5,000 sq ft employee wellness center, an employee pharmacy, a 6,000 sq ft catering cooking kitchen, a Starbucks, a 20,000 sq ft employee fitness area with a gymnasium/fitness center/locker rooms/showers and similar amenities).
The building project was a major renovation with much of the HVAC system gutted. The new HVAC provided by Inversity included seven (7) new packaged RTU’s, six (6) new Energy Recovery rooftop units and retainage of four (4) existing packaged rooftop units, sixty-four (64) fan powered VAV terminal boxes and ninety-six (96) single duct shutoff VAV terminal boxes. All systems included new ductwork and air distribution systems. Inversity designed the makeup air and exhaust systems for the kitchen which includes three (3) grease exhaust systems, each with dedicated makeup air systems. Specialized equipment included computer room air conditioners with water cooled rooftop condensers and a variable refrigerant flow air conditioning system for IDF room cooling. Total cooling capacity for this highly complex project was approximately 700 tons.
Inversity was part of a local partnership with McKinney, coordinating the MEP effort for Gensler and Capital One. This renovation sought and received LEED Certification, and was substantially complete in July 2017.
